Fred H. Burke is an accomplished c-suite executive having over 35 years of experience within large multinational and mid-sized private and public companies, primarily in CFO and COO capacities.
He has had worked extensively with equity backed companies, overseeing the completion of mergers, acquisitions, divestures, major refinancing or restructuring transactions. From an operations perspective, Fred has overseen major capital expansion projects, ERP implementations and implemented plant-wide operating efficiency improvements.
He currently provides executive finance and operations consulting services to several private manufacturing companies. Since Aug 2019 he is the CFO/Secretary and a Board Director for Thomas Crown Corp which provides artificial and business intelligence solutions specifically within the debt collections industry.
Fred has also served as a director, advisor and officer on several public, private and not for profit external boards. He is currently a directly for the province of Ontario’s WSPS (Workplace Health and Safety) board of directors and St Joe’s Hospital in Hamilton Ontario and is also a member of the board of advisors for several Private Bakery Manufacturers located in Toronto, Canada
Prior to 2017, Fred was a long serving executive board member for the Certified General Accountants Association of Ontario and CPA joint committee for the past 2 years a member of CPA’s annual conference planning committee. Fred’s service to the CPA association of Canada included attendance at numerous international business conferences as a speaker and panelist which focused on research conducted for post-secondary institutions. He has several publications to his credit.
Fred is a past president of the Financial Executives International (FEI) Toronto Chapter and has served on the Canadian Counsel for Small Business Enterprises (CCSBE) and CFO Canada Advisory Board.
Fred received his professional director’s certification (ICD.D) March 2014, has an Honors B Commerce degree from McMaster University, professional accounting designation and was awarded life membership and CGA/CPA fellowship designations. As of Sept 2019, he is a registered executive volunteer for CESO-Saco (Canadian Executive Service Organization). He is engaged on a current assignment to assist a Data Research AI and BI analytics Company located in Skopje Macedonia.
